The topical antifungal treatments that you can buy over the counter are fine to use throughout pregnancy, since you couldn't get enough of the drug into your bloodstream to cause a problem.

Avoid oral antifungal medications with griseofulvin because they could cause birth defects if you take them in your first trimester. It's unlikely that you'd urgently have to treat a nail-fungus problem when you're pregnant, but if you did, it would probably be okay to take these pills after your first trimester.
