What kind of personal information should I give in my ad or profile?

Just give out general information like your hobbies and interests.

Never give out personal identifiable information like your home phone #, home address, or real email address in your Profile.

Give a throw away email account, use a screen name not your real name.

Only give out such information when you are comfortable a person.

Get a throw away email account just for Dating contacts.

This way your sig at the end of the mail will not giveany Personal Information like where you work or business you own.
