- 2009/08/28 To treat my toenail fungus when I'm pregnant
The Topical Antifungal Treatments that you can buy over the counter are fine to use throughout Pregnancy, since you couldn't get enough of the drug into your Bloodstream to cause a problem.
Avoid Oral Antifungal Medications with Griseofulvin because they could cause birth defects if you take them in your first trimester. It's unlikely that you'd urgently have to treat a Nail-Fungus problem when you're Pregnant, but if you did, it would probably be okay to take these pills after your first trimester.
