Psoriasis is contagious?

No.

Psoriasis is a reaction of the Immune System and not caused by a Virus or Bacteria, so it's not Contagious.

It doesn't even spread on your child's skin.

How did my baby get impetigo?

Pretty easily — Impetigo is very Contagious. Your baby may have picked up the Bacteria by touching an infected child or some object that the child touched, like a toy or a towel. Or he may have already had the Bacteria on the surface of his skin and then gotten a cut, allowing the Bacteria to enter and cause an infection.

In addition to cuts and Scrapes, the Bacteria can invade the skin through Cold sores, Eczema, an insect bite, or other areas where your child's skin is damaged or sensitive. He may get it right below his nose if it's sensitive there from wiping away Mucus. Impetigo is more common during warm, humid weather.

My baby has scaly red patches on her skin that seem to be very itchy. What is this ugly rash?

It sounds like Eczema (also called atopic dermatitis), a skin rash that often appears in the first year of life. Eczema usually shows up on a baby's Forehead, Cheeks, and Scalp, but it can spread to the Arms, Legs, Chest, or other parts of the body.

Your baby's rash might look like dry, thickened, scaly skin, or it might be made up of tiny red bumps that can blister, ooze, or become infected if Scratched. Eczema isn't Contagious, but because it's intensely Itchy, Scratching can be a problem.

What are hives?

Hives, also known as Urticaria or Welts, are Swollen areas on the skin.

They can show up in different shapes and sizes, but are generally well defined, with a Pale, Central, Raised area surrounded by a red border.

And they usually itch.
Your baby may have a group of Hives that disappears after a few minutes or a few hours, only to have a new crop show up elsewhere.

If your baby breaks out in Hives, they could last from a few hours to a few days, although it's possible to have Hives for months at a time.

Hives are common, but not Contagious.

What are the causes and risk factors of endocrine cancer?

While doctors can seldom explain why one person gets Endocrine Cancer and another doesn't, we do know that the disease is not Contagious; no one can "catch" Endocrine Cancer from another person.

Scientists do not know exactly what causes this disease, but research does show that some people are more likely to develop it than others.

Some Endocrine Cancers are inherited (run in the family).

If there is a strong family history of Endocrine Cancers of the same type – or of different types – you may also have a Tendency to develop a cancer of this type.
